The Cause

A cup of coffee. A career. A community.

Ri's Coffee was born from a simple conviction: everyone deserves a real job, real growth, and real belonging. Founder Bethany Stanton opened the café in Phoenix, Arizona, inspired by her sister Mariah — known as Ri — who has cerebral palsy.

Bethany watched Ri navigate a world that too often underestimated her. So she built something different. Ri's Coffee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit café that hires, trains, and champions adults with developmental disabilities — not as charity cases, but as skilled professionals who happen to make excellent espresso.

"Every latte sold funds a shift. Every shift builds a career. Every career changes a life."

When you register, donate, or sponsor Miles for Opportunity, you're not just crossing a finish line. You're widening the door.
